Dato’ Sri Leftenan General Wan Normazlan bin Che Jaafar (B) served in the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) for 42 years and is a former Air Support Commander. He held positions including RMAF Pilot, Assistant Chief of Human Resources Staff, Assistant Chief of Operations and Strategic Staff, RMAF Subang Base Commander and RMAF Legal Director. He has extensive legal experience in military law and is the author of “Military Legal Proceeding in Malaysia”.
He served as President of the RMAF Military Court for 10 years and Chief Prosecutor of the RMAF Military Court for 8 years. He was an adviser on Military Law and RMAF Operations. After retiring, he became a Partner in Jagjit Ariff & Co handling criminal, conveyancing, civil cases, personal injuries, insurance and general litigation. He has also provided legal advisory services to Government agencies and corporations on commercial and corporate matters.
