Sofea Shereen binti Mohamad Salim is a graduate with a Bachelor of Law degree from Multimedia University in 2020. Upon graduation, she chambered at Messrs Rajpal Firah & Vishnu where she handled criminal litigation cases and investigations under the Penal Code, the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and the Prevention of Crime Act. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor on 28 May 2021.
She later joined Jagjit Ariff & Co as an Advocate & Solicitor and is currently handling criminal litigation. She is responsible for handling clients under criminal investigations, attending to remand proceedings, bail proceedings, criminal applications proceedings and criminal case management proceedings. She also assists in handling criminal litigation hearings and trial.
She is responsible for preparing causal papers, submissions, paperwork, and arguments in criminal cases under the Penal Code, the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, the Customs Act 1967, the AMLATFPUAA, the Child Care Centre Act, and the MACC Act. She also assists with matters of forfeiture of property, general civil litigation cases and real estate law.
